Surprised that Mike Hesson didnt consider his fellow kiwis Devon Conway or Glenn Phillips. Conway is a leftie and it would have given them right left options as back up for Padikkal

Finn is also Kiwi isn't he? And unlike Conway/Phillips he is not a foreign import

No that I know. I was wondering whether those two would have been better options.

ideally they shud have gone for a good fast bowler, their bowling will loose them many games

Philippe strikes me as being raw as of now. he may be an outstanding talent, but I haven't seen much evidence yet beyond BBL. and even in BBL, likes of hales and vince did better.

Seems like a good pick.. RCB under Hesson seems to only look for Aus/NZ players?

Simon Katich is the coach.. and Hesson is the director of operations and that explains Aus/NZ players

They don't have a wicket keeper too.
