I do not like the idea of starting a thread to ridicule someone.

 

I grew up in Delhi with Tamil, Guju, Maharashtrians and kannad folks. I think as a punjabi I had a lot to learn from you guys. Just because we blow steam here does not mean I dislike you.

 

You are my brothes and I love. Now fu@k off and start discussing some serious issues.

I don’t want to proliferate every thread with the same argument. He’s convinced that I dig up dirt on TN. Let’s dig up all such dirt in one thread, rather than same old sh1t in every thread. If he is thinking that he is teaching me a lesson. I am happy to learn.

 

agreed, he is not a troll. But sometimes behaves like one. Maybe Sat he’s had couple of shots and is riled up. I have changed the subject. Looking forward to learn about Cauvery dispute from the other side. 
 

For your case, I didn’t say all farmers agitating are Khalistanis, but there are Khalistanis masquerading as protesters infiltrating and corrupting the protesters among farmers.  Kanedawalon se bachke rahiyon!

Yup never more rabbid hate for tamils than in Bangalore...people locals won't mind killing off Tamil people pretty genocidal. All over kaveri water share lol.  The fact that is the normalised is the real state of India as a union. So no real chance for any Indian nationalist agenda in TN really.

I dont just know kannada..anyways. legally TN is in the right when it comes to kaveri case its a blot. When a whole people oppose a ruling it becomes an issue as no judiciary is above people, but also puts a debt on the society that is going down that path. This is a microcosm of whats happening all over India. If Indians can single out and hate a set of people by sect or religion or food consumption or language and it gets normalised in mainstream by a national party its not true Right-wing its extreme, society will pay for that too.

If you want to speak about morality and ethics, there is no one way about. It’s a grey area that we can debate who is morally right until the cows come home. Judicial arguments and case judgements are fluid as it is handled by a tribunal and both sides have their legal arguments. 
 

With good political leadership on both sides, compromises have to be done on both sides to have a peaceful settlement. With film stars joining and influencing the people, it gets to be a chaotic situation at times.

I don’t know if you are trolling or serious, but it is not true. Bengaluru has about 30% Tamil people speaking only Tamizh and not knowing Kannada, and many more who have been living here for 100 years are naturalized locals (if I may use the word) . There were pockets of industrial and construction workers that were affected, in slum areas , or even there might be some one or two attacks on affluent people who were affected. But the riots are politically motivated, goon training sessions and political leaders choosing goons for their use. There is no widespread hate as you are  alluding to.

It is not one-sided. There have been attacks on poor kannadigas and buses in TN too. Until 80s , all Kannada movies were made in Madras, as infrastructure and studios were not invested by the state in Karnataka. Most of the stars, directors, cameramen, writers used to live in Medras as it was convenient to work and live closer. During some riots in TN , goons have attacked stars’ homes (like Rajkumar) and he was chased out of his Madras home. His sons (again megastars in Sandalwood) still speak Tamizh influenced Kannada as they all grew up In Madras. There is no ingrained normalized hate as you are trolling all the time. 
In fact. When Rajkumar was held captive for 90 days by Tamilian brigand Veerappan, no Tamil living in Kar was injured in retaliation. This shows that the riots are politically motivated and used for dare training of goons. 
 

Any riots happen, the first they do is to stop state transport buses and caution people not to drive across states as they get attacked both sides. 
 

During the recent riots (bus burning) in 2016, lot of hateful attacks happened on TN side as well and in your language normalized

You still don't get it. Riparian law states legal way to share water based on length a river flows in each terriority its a straight forward law. There is room for interpretation for sure.

Outright objectionable statement veerappan was a terrorist and why would citizens living in bangalore who were tamil should be attacked for that lol this is what I mean when I say normalised us vs them behavior with certain kannadigas. Specifically the entities who support some siege mentality.. no one is here trying to ruin your kannada nadu do you get that. Tamils don't sit somewhere and scheme with veerappan to attack your matnee idol rajkumar lol.. and there were riots during rajkumar kidnapping in bangalore lol. I remember driving several of my colleagues their spouses to their homes esp tamil and North indian ones as they did not have local vehicles. Dude don't give this bs to me.

How does the city get drinking water?

 

I also feel both karnataka and tn are not doing themselves any favours by growing water intensive sugarcane and rice respectively.

TN will probably put water tax on food crops and cash crops sent to Kerala and Karnataka pretty soon to finance coastal desalination plants. Hehe..thats where this is headed.
