In this interview, he outlines vision for India more clearly than any economist or politician I could think of. Sanjeev Sanyal is an Indian economist and author. BacktoCricaddict Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 (edited) OK, this guy is no way Tharoor. His language is simple and clear, unlike the verbal diarrhea emanating from Tharoor's mouth. He keeps saying he is not a Libertarian, but that is exactly what he is (at least the way I define Libertarianism - strong, limited government that provides excellent basic services and security). His idea of libertarianism is more like anarchism. I love the concept of the Kautilyan state! This is a must-watch. BTW, someone here mentioned that theprint.in is a left-wing rag. ThePrint is at least publishing couple of articles on the right of center people like Sanyal and Makaramd Paranjpe. Unlike theWire. Quint, caravan etc. Have to credit Shekhar Coupta, who is a spin master, sometimes masquerades or dabbles away from his liberal tendencies. He is not all bad I don’t know much about Sanyal’s economic credentials, he has been the government’s economic advisor, along with Bibek Debroy. I have read his book on History - Land of Seven Rivers, he is a better intellectual than the fake Hindu Tharoor pseudo intellectual . People will enjoy this..as you can directly compare the two
