Experts, is it right to assume that maximum bowling speed of a bowler is not a constant but depends on conditions like climate and humidity?

My assumption derives from Javelin Throwers. This time no thrower was able to touch 90 meters mark in hot and humid Japan. But I'm sure the 90 meters mark will be crossed in Paris because of favorable conditions.

So, I'm assuming that pacers may bowl 3-6 kmph faster in Australia as compared to India. Am I wrong in my assumption?

Early Summer sets in Australia in that period ,what we have in Feb March

That is the nature of the beast ie t20 cricket. For mass consumption and more eyeballs a 130 par score pitch with lot of assistance to either seam or spin won't be optimum. It is what it is. International t20 tournaments are much less batting friendly than bilaterals and ipl imo.

Tbh the pitches this year have been good so far. Maybe early on it feels that way because it has to last 2 months of cricket. But apart from Brabourne i don't feel any pitch is that flat. Wankhede has been the most sluggish out of the 4, especially compared to it's usual standards.

I am at stadium.... navdeep saini playing today..pitch has a bit of green.

Arshdeep & Khaleel are better than what Nattu offers.  Both bowl well with New ball & get decent bounce.  Arshdeep is quite good at death.  I think he is quite close to a India call.  Sakariya was played over him in Sri lanka tour too.  Arshdeep was a net bowler back then I think.

That's a big blow for us. His batting is solid. Plus he can swing the ball as an opener bowler.

Not sold out on his bowling, but batting-wise, yes, a blow. I edited my post: WC is in 6 months, so what maths is this guy using?

Khaleel is of different category, right? Tall, fast and bouncy?

Arshdeep pace is low though right? He gets decent bounce?

Weather does matter. Too hot or too cold will have some effect on pace.

He can bowl 135ish & crank it up to 140 at times.  He gets good enough lift.  Ceiling is higher than Nattu who is 30+ now.

Khaleel yes gets more bounce than any left armer we have.  And is probably fastest left armer we have as well.

Lone Wolf, I'm talking about a category of pacers who bowl deceptive pace (110-135 kmph) with variations (yorkers, slow bouncers, cutters, reverse swing in the death) and are hard to read, death-overs specialist. Nattu, Harshal and Arshdeep are the current examples in my mind. I haven't seen Khaleel bowling so far. But I think that he does not belong in this category.
