express bowling Posted September 29, 2021 Author Posted September 29, 2021 (edited) It is really good to see Siraj bowl good Yorkers in the early overs too. I would have loved to see him try these quick yorkers in test matches too. It's a great delivery in any format, and at any time in the match, if you can bowl them well. speedheat Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Siraj is in great form, consistently hitting those hard lengths and sneaking in a quick yorker with newball. His death bowling has also gotten better. I'm not sure why he wasn't selected for the WC. Mosher and express bowling 2

express bowling Posted September 29, 2021 Author Posted September 29, 2021 Catches lobbed up from 2 consecutive short balls by Tyagi. The 2nd one was a really good bouncer. Mosher 1

Sreesanth was very fit, you need a strong upper body to even sustain 140kph, Varun Aaron for example is unfit but even with a pot belly he can still bowl 140kph, shami to has a pot belly but strong ish upper body.

I think you need stronger lower body to sustain pace. Running 15-20 yards and bowling 140k would need strong lower body. Upper body can make you bowl 140 but to sustain it strong legs are required. Sreesanth wasn't fit. He lacked stamina. Also Aaron isn't unfit. He probably has the strongest lower body among Indian fast bowlers. SK_IH Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Can Bhuvi be dropped from WC squad, he looks like biggest waste of space at the moment in the squad. Look at the performances of Bumrah & Shami & compare it with this dud. He is being mollycoddled just because he is a "senior" bowler now. Other options like Thakur, Chahar should be explored before the WC starts, both have more utility than Bhuvi. express bowling, tweaker and Vk1 3
