Simarjeet was hitting 146ks too... But Prasidh is breaching 90mph frequently.

His line has impressed me more. Pace was always there. But his line has been tight to offstump more often than not. 

 

Granted, this pitch has low bounce and it's tough for batters.

Probably a bit of both bro.

 

And he never had the ability to sustain speeds in tests like Bumrah, Umesh or Shami can / could.

Liked the way Prasidh varied between 145 k and slower balls seamlessly like Bumrah and Harshit. 

 

Never seen this earlier. 

 

And he has developed another type of slower ball bowled into the pitch at 120 to 130 k. Earlier he could bowl only a loopy 90 kmph to 110 kmph slower ball.  Like this new type of ball.

siraj n prasidh bowled upto 146k.

Prasidh has learnet bowling slow too, this actually grows him into a good bowler now.

Posted this multiple times, Ind bowlers does not knw what their optimal bowling pace should be. Everytime Pradish bowls in 145 kmph bracket he looks v.good and needs to hit that pace often and consistently to be effective.

 

As soon as he goes ~140 or sub 140 kmph its just some chest height bouncers with nothing in it, v.easy to play and hit.

 

Some suggested he can not sustain that kind of pace then he needs to develop and start bowling at different lengths and add new skill set. If he wants to keep bowling at that length then his pace needs to be in 145kmph bracket.

 

Not knowing what pace bracket works for them is sometimes biggest issue with Ind pace bowlers thats why there are inconsistency in their careers, some seasons they look good and some season they look ordinary to club level.

 

Dint watch the match but Praidsh had slower ones he was trying to use them previous seasons too but those are kind of giving 24 hours prior notice thing, its v.obvious to pick his arm speed changes and length changes hopefully he has worked on it this season.

 

But unless he can sustain 145 kmph he will always look work in-progress kind of bowler not be trusted at intnl. level

Siraj ne kya pi liya achanak. Pichle match tak to 140 bhi nahi ho rahi thi.

149.6 is close to 150K- that's some serious Pace, but it was a one off ball . all other balls were below 146k.

Indicates that he does have capability to be Express fast but normally bowls 140 to 146k when he is in full rhythm.

Prasidh's effort ball is around 140 to 147K. I expect him to touch 150K in this IPL.

Super impressed by both of them yesterday.

Both are ready to fly to ENGLAND.

Harshit, BOOM, SHammi, Prasidh,Siraj and Khaleel ahead of arshdeep. for odi's and tests khaleel could be better than arsh.

no one has appreciated ASHISH NEHRA.

 

Hats off to Ashish..

 

he forced ISHANT who is 1 or 2 years younger than ashish nehra to  bowl 142K ( at this age).

gave galli to Siraj and Prasidh to bowl 145k and use slow balls as surprise not as a regular ball. see the number of bouncers they bowled. they forgot that this was a PATTA wicket and a good connect to a bouncer could go for a 6. All bouncers were targeting the helmet - very dangerous. one ball went lil above head also was reviewed and allowed as batsman had bent down a bit.

Slow balls - all bowlers knew the kind of slow balls they had to bowl.

hardik Pandya ko shant rakha, tilak verma ko failure bana diya. surya ko out kiya.

first time pacers won the match on a PATTA wicket. now this set of pacers will get GT many wins.

ASHISH nehra BHAI..indian team ke bowling coach ban jao.

4 over 18 runs and 2 wickets by Prasidh- Game changing bowling. was he the MOM. He made them win the Match under Nehra's tutelage.

i do feel shocked and surprised when some one who is capable of bowling 140 to 151k ...continues to bowl 127 to 137k in international cricket.

line and length is very important but the fear in the batsman is gone. As an opening batsman , i tried to see the ball till it reached my bat and even when it is touching my bat , till the very last. 

Suddenly i got few ballers who bowled 120 to 132k. they were too quick to read consistently and i had to do a bit of guessing the line and playing game which is a different style of batting. as soon i saw him bowling short , i put my bat in defensive mode in the line bowler was bowling and ball came and hit the flat top of my bat , some times went for a single and some times got down there  itself.

PACE with Bounce is a DEADLY weapon- nehra got the bowlers to use it on patta wicket. in england such a coach can be truly useful.
