Cummins ended the recent series with 21 wickets in 4 tests whereas Bumrah managed 11 wickets in 3 tests. Bumrah has not been the same bowler after his injury. Bunrah played with second string bowling attack. Bumrah alongside shami and ishant would wreak havoc. Bowlers work in pairs. Bumrah is better and has more potential. Cummins is good on bouncy tracks. Not sure he is anywhere near as good in Asia. Link to comment

Bumrah as of now hasn't bowled enough in Asia so we can't really compare. Both them are a tier below Shami & Umesh in India that's for sure. Link to comment

What has the whiteys achieved in Asia? Apart from mcgrathand steyn no one else dominated in asia. Inferiority complex I suppose. For me to praise a player, I expect that player to perform in Asia especially India and u.a.e. Moreso India. If not you aren't a true ATG. Sorry warney. Link to comment

sscomp32
Since you said avoid repetitions i would mention MS as captain only :) Batsman Sachin - No explanations needed :) Pantt: For the first time since 2011 i am excited/nervous/scared to watch someone bat. He is just unbelievable to watch. There is no one like him at the moment. Bowler Sreesanth (Not retired i know but is more or less finished, ) Would have been an ATG if he wasn't a moron. Bhuvneshwar Kumar He is so pleasing to watch when he bowls properly. Injuries and the obsession of indians with speed screwed him up. WK Gilchrist - No explanations needed Kishan - Will make a mark soon :) AR Freddie Flintoff - Mercurial Cricketer both on and off the field. SIR Ravindra Jadeja - To me he is in line to be the greatest all rounder in indian history if he continues his form for 4/5 years more. Captain MS Dhoni - Current Rohit - Best captain in IPL history, Knows how to win tournaments, doesnt get angry flustered or shows over aggression. wanted to mention rahane but sample size is low. Spinner Kumble Ashwin/Rashid Coach Greg Chappell Ravi Shastri/ Trevor Bayliss Edited June 12, 2021 by sscomp32 Link to comment
