Was so nervous throughout, glad he finished the job. It is over, Nole is the undisputed GOAT of tennis even if he retires right now.

Last week Federer insulted the sport, today Nole saved it. Thank you so so much, the chosen one, the most inspiring sportsperson in my lifetime.

Will take time to process what I just saw.

After breaking Fed in 2019, he breaks Rafa today in PC. But he can't be touched in RLA.

All hail the king....don't care if he wins/loses the final. GOAT debate is settled once and for all.

2011 RG SF was Fed's greatest blunder. Should have let Nole handle Rafa in the final, huge missed opportunity to dent Rafa's aura in Court Philippe Chatrier.

Imagine achieving this remarkable feat after that horrible 0-5 start, one of the greatest nights in ALL sports.

Nadal had militant support. He looked tired and was trying dropshots desperately towards the end, was impossible to watch.

Incredibly happy today to see Djoker win. Brilliant match actually by both. Nadal tried to comeback plenty of times but it wasn’t the case today as he was facing his nemesis. If Nadal is one of the best fighters, Djokovic then is the fittest sporstman on planet earth and that combined with his relentlessness was enough today against Nadal.

Roland Garros put a putla for Nadal outside the stadium to commemorate his greatness. May be that put the end to his golden Clay run at the Paris? :)

I knew Djoker meant business in the first one hour. The guy was about to get bageled and then he comes back to fight it out in vain in the first set. Most players would have tanked that set. Djoker was unstoppable after that.

Thoroughly disappointed. Want to troll vote gloaters. Was hoping to see a repeat of last year. Nadal has a French Open record that koi MKL will not beat in our lifetimes. RG Goat, Hope Tsitsipas, the 22 yr old Greek brings down the fake GOAT.

Wow, can't believe Djokovic pulled it off after falling behind 0-5 in the first! He is a nervous starter and has won in 4 sets quite a few times  after dropping the first but falling behind by a set against Nadal at RG is pretty much end of the line! I wouldn't be surprised if this is the first time Nadal has lost at RG after winning the first set. I watched the first 2 sets and drifted off to sleep as it was too late for me. I woke up after a bit and saw Djokovic leading by 2 sets to 1! Last time he beat Nadal at RG, Wawrinka aka Stanimal stole his thunder in the final. Can Tsitsipas, also a one hand backhand player like Wawrinka, do the same? I hope he can make it a challenging contest no matter what.

Federer is my favorite among the big 3 but I wish he had retired 5-6 years ago and Djok-dal had also retired last year or the one before. It's become boring to see oldies beat the younger generation. Tennis needs newer players to come up and take center stage.

Stan's OHBH was fierce back then, could pin Nole to the back of the court....make him scramble and attempt out of position shots. Tsi's OHBH is bang average even on good days. Sure there are areas where he is better and I am expecting Nole's level to dip tomorrow, hope to see a great battle going the full distance.

The thing going for Tsitsipas is, his last two matches against Novak on clay were both extremely close matches and he's been the better clay courter throughout the season. He'll also be fresher and younger of the two. He has his chances. Novak's clay level yesterday was good enough to beat Rafa because he was past his best days (still credit to him as that rafa would still have beaten everyone else most probably) but still Novak has declined on clay and Tsitsipas can take advantage of it. It will be a close final.

Very true. Both are OHBH and that's where the similarity ends. Stan is in a different class altogether.

* Djoker, a good tennis player but an absolute arsehole of the highest order! Lost it completely with his anti Covid antics last year, if he wasn't a top tennis player he probably would've been put behind bars or something :whack3:

Say what you will about their tennis records the *in joker will never come close to Nadal as a human being, or Federer even.
