Golf enthusiasts, few small doubts.   How many types of golf clubs are there? One for long distance, one for short putting? Do they carry their own golf balls or does the event organizer provide them with designated tournament balls?   Do they play the same 18 holes on all 4 days here, or its it 18x4=72 different holes?   Are PGA/LPGA golf courses much larger than this Olympics course, hence with higher par for every shot? That could explain why Aditi with her stron

Intanon is a top player but Tai Tzu is a different beast altogether. Sindhu at her best can beat all others left in the draw, but if Tai Tzu is at her best no version of Sindhu can stop her, because of her net game, deception, unpredictability Sindhu gets no rhythm against her. 

 

She hired this new Korean coach and worked a lot to counter Tai Tzu, aspects of her game have improved, like touch, defence and net game. Anyway can't predict the future, just hope everything turns out good for Sindhu. 

 

Intanon too is a beast and Sindhu isn't playing at her pre-COVID level...you had to see her in 2019 World Championship in Basel (her last tourney under previous South Korean coach), beat Tai Tzu, Chen Yufei on her way to final where she beat Okuhara something like 21-7, 21-6. Was so dominant in that tournament and some of her set victory margins were comical, against the best of the best. This version of Sindhu is a pale shadow of that Sindhu, I don't think she is playing that well, nothing guaranteed. Maybe I am wrong. 

I watched that tourney.. yes she was good - but I feel that her smashes and fitness levels are way better now. She had Yamaguchi huffing and puffing early in the second set. I've never seen that before. I felt she was a bit jaded after the WC win.

There's an Indian guy at 7th in Equestrian... no idea what this means - anyone know if the scores are good/bad and how easy/hard is it for him to get into medal contention?

@I6MTW our boy Sasha Zverev is a BO3 beast. 

Yep. Zverev is good in BO3. It's as shame he can't be as good in Bo5. Really a wasted talent there. Still time to overcome his hurdles and demons. He has improved but still not enough to win a slam.

We were 150-6 in 40 overs :giggle:could have easily won but only one guy was actually interested in winning
