I fear without Shastri, Team India will become like RCB

As much as we mock Shastri for his fondness for drinking, being a pliable coach and supposedly being lazy  - he is a damn good motivator with a phenomenal attitude and super strong character.

 

He knows how to pump up a team. I think he had a strong impact in motivating our 2nd string team to perform the way they did Aus.

 

Imagine if he goes and we're left with an impetuous, imbecile captain.

 

It would look like RCB all again - had a gun team for years but never won anything.

 

I hope I am wrong.
