This is exactly what I had called out during the last day's drama. Despite doing nothing of note, he hogged all the credit with his cringe worthy antics. It was all about himself, to make up for his failure as a batsman.

Rahane just in 3 tests vs Aus showed him his Aukaat by captaining and winning with a 3rd string team...

 

He needs to show all this false bravado to show as if he is no lesser a captain than Rahane, who did not hog any limelight.

rahane at least did score that important 100 in Oz too. with rat, his mouth does the talking, his feet do the running (away from anderson).
