Sanjay Manjrekar also had a 600+ runs series. Many limited batsmen had some peak years and series

Sanjay Manjrekar doesn't avg 50 and doesn't have 11 SENA centuries.

This is getting ridiculous, come up with something better.

Virat has scored 500 + run 4 times in just 4 matches, so yet another silly excuse.

Also, Sachin has played quite a few 4 and 5 match series, will try to list them.

He lacked the domination factor.

Sachin has scored 403 at his peak in a TWO match series. Yes he played a couple of 5 match when he was off form and later part of career but thats like taking Kohli's stats only just last 2 year and not at his peak

At peak Sachin has scored 446 in a 3 match series and 403 in a two match series. He constantly scored over 350 in 2 match series and over 400 in 3 match series. It is baffling you think he wouldn't have scored 500+ if he had more matches in those series

And Lara scored 400 in one innings.

What's that got to do with what i was saying?

Sachin had a gazillion chances to score 500+ runs in a series and he didn't, why are you arguing for the sake of it.

Scoring 500+ runs in a series is widely accepted as a mark of domination in a series.

If there's one image which shows total submission before your superior rival it's this.

Won't comment on technique as I Don’t even know which sport this guy is playing, looks like a ice hockey goalkeeper

Now you are intentionally acting dumb. Sachin crossed 350+ in 2 match series and 400+ in a 3 match series again and again and again at his peak. He also continued his form in other series same year and topped most runs scorer charts so it was not like he was inconsistent either. It takes only 2 brain cells to realize if we had more tests he could have crossed 500 and 600 too

Yeah a player who played 5 match series only twice (once as a 18 year old and one a series in WI where 2 tests were washed off by rain had a gazillion chances. A person who in his peak only got to play 2-3 matches had a gazillion chances

500 runs = domination was set by English and Australian players and commentators for whom 5 match series were the norm. Imagine thinking 350+ in 2 tests and 400+ in 3 tests is not utter domination

Kohli averages 50+ in two countries. Good for him for being really good at home like sehwag, but he's still a limited batsman.

He averages in low 30s in England after playing 13 matches therr. Its fair to say he is a limited in a lot of conditions atleast

Just listen to what he said in the PC and your heart and mind will fill with hate. He is a disgusting egomaniacal arrogant stupid POS. You just have to respect and adore our real sportsperson who toil day and night to do something for the country and this jackass just insulted everyone in the PC, laughed and smirked at their questions and basically dismissed all suggestions. He is going to do what he likes.

* you and your management. The day you leave, it will be the real independence fir our cricket.. Hopefully. The people are also to blame for hero worship.

He completely dominated those series at his PEAK. You keep on bringing 4 match series when i showed at his peak he easily scored over 350 in just two and over 400 in 3, so if thoee series were 4 matches he could have scored 500 in his dreams

No he didnt play quite few 5 match, he only played 2, one as a 18 year old in aus and a rain affected one in west indies where 2 matches were rain draws with only 1 innins played

He played only 4 4 match series in his prime (others were either as a teen or in 2012-13 when he sucked and retired). I have included even his tennis elbow period

Of those 4, in 3 series he didnt even get to bat 2nd innings in at least 3 matches per series (dull draws where sachin remained not out or team declared or it rained.  even then he scored 493, 401and 393 there, averaging well over 70, without playing half the innings). One he failed, scoring only 293

You bringing series after his peak is like me saying kohli sucks because he averages only 30 last 2 years.

Oh bhai why are you fighting a lost battle, should i shut you up once and for all by listing down all the 4 match series he played. Are four matches mot enough, as I said other batsman have scored 500+ runs in 4 match series many times.

He averages above 50 in two SENA countries and below 40 in the other two.

And he has dominated atleast  a series in three of them. That is quite a good resume

For example there are some cricketers who are hyped to the moon even after averaging 30 in SENA. Idiots call them Hitman

he is rather like sehwag. good at home, good in Oz, and pretty ordinary in most other places. even at home, he struggles on spinning pitches. Murali and Mendis would have decimated Rat in 2008, which sehwag handled with aplomb
