On the contrary, I think I am very very black. But this guy proves my point that bending the knee is in fact mockable. He is a casual racist who refers to me by colour of my skin but want everyone take him seriously on bending the knee.

But thats this persons problem and not bending the knee problem. Thats like a white person saying, i met an india who was thief so its ok to call all indians thief

I don't agree that Holding is Uncle Tom as that is a very big accusation. He is entitled to his views as a cricket expert as he is paid to express his opinion. All I want from him is give a rational opinion on Indian fast bowlers as he was a great fast bowler himself.

Well for me I don’t see white, brown or black persons. I see person. You however see everyone through the prism of their skin. So keep bending that knee and allow rest of us to mock folks like you. Even if you don’t, rest assured, we would.

just a hypocrite, he has it in for these WI t20 mercenaries too like Pollard, Gayle and Russell whom he barely considers cricketers. It was okay for him during his pomp to run away to play WSC though while he now talks like an anachronistic Colonial era purist.

yeah that's the part that bugs me. he should deal with it. ipl is cricket just like 50 over cricket was in those days. holding is becoming an old fart. among WI commentators, I prefer Bishop to these senile people. He was great to listen to in the 90s not so much now. gavaskar must be booted off too. and he did the bombay lobby thing of supporting hahane when he averages 20 this year

i'm not convinced it is a bombay lobby thing so much as sticking up for the existing order/ backing those who play the way he thinks is right. he pans rohit sharma very often too.

I think we must also acknowledge that he is a part of that counter culture where it was all about standing up for little guy. In today’s cricketing context, India is the establishment. He thinks that by going after India he is doing right thing.

He has strong opinions but that doesn't mean he is in the right. He had his tryst with Stanford T20s before it went bust. So why doesn't he bring that topic up. Its always India. He has a Christian upbringing. Maybe he should follow what they say
