Feel bad for the Kiwis. First, they made the bold (but unnecessary) call to play in Pak. Second, had to leave without even playing a ball because of the directive by their government (It would be interesting to see the concerns if made public at a later time). 

 

Since it is a meaningless LOI bilateral, not playing the series is not a big deal ... Pak as expected would be in the drama mode.

Tbh, the way PCB have handled this situation has been awful in my opinion. Their official Twitter account is working over time flinging mud at the Kiwis. Surely the Kiwis have every right to cancel if they feel threatened? On top of that the PCB chairman instead of de escalating the situation has straight up gone full on offensive as well. PCB hell bent on jeopardising their ties with NZC over some meaningless bi laterals. The whole Pakistani MSM and SM is blasting NZC for cancelling even though they committed resources/money to agree to arrive in Pakistan in the first place
