I think the IPL money and retirement fund is taking away the hunger from a lot of these fellas.....

Screw IPl really...  Low quality useless tourney...  International players don't give their 10% & our Indian shooperstars left everything they have on field.

I think issue is that some players are losing the will to fight or the National team due to IPL

IPL isn't to blame directly but the message BCCI is letting youngsters have for IPL -      Play IPL and make money - buy watches / cars / flash it out and score run a ball for the Indian National team

BCCI needs to ensure to keep  National Team on the highest pedestal and then IPL

I think I can put this debate to rest once and for all..

IPL isn't the problem  - Indian Players are.

If the International players can play well in the IPL and STILL perform well for their teams at the international stage and find that extra gear and motivation but Indian players play International games like its just a formality then don't blame the IPL - Blame these well fed no shame over paid "Superstars" .    Look at Boult / Rashid / Hazelwood etc

T20 leagues and The Hundred are helping  teams like England and Pakistan get good white ball talent and play how it's supposed to play , Why blame IPL ?

Blame these players who have no hunger and motivation to play

Blame the poor selection

Blame the lack of self respect and motivation these players have for their National Team

Ban IPl is trending in India....  Already viewership is at all time low.  I expect People will continue to pull away from Tamasha...

Bring back Champions league T20 instead..  Screw this 3rd grade tourney.

Biggest problem with ipl is its not run professionally.. winning the title is not a priority for teams as long as their brand endorsements are coming. This is partly fault of indian audience too

How can a franchise let a utter failure captain lead for 8 years? A total geriatric passenger like dhoni gets to drag his career forever and is even getting retained next year. Rohit has been a passenger for how long in mi? They do this because kohli, dhoni and rohit bring brand endorsement revenue, so they will do everything possible to inflate their brand no matter what their personal form is.

Ipl is more similar to wwe than nba or nfl

This is ridiculous when you don't reward IPL performers what's the point blming it

CSK has anyway done well in IPL,Dhoni is the main architect, they play him

RCB is in shambles thanks to chewt ,

MI has done well thanks Rohit, why would they fix which isn't causing problem

We have to make a pool of t20 players from IPL and SMAT and give them a proper run in international t20s , professional or unprofessional IPL will always throw some great players, its all upto BCCI to give them platform to gel together as an international unit

These V Iyers, Ruturajs would do zilch if you throw them in middle of a tourney right away,it was coming, there should have been a build up for this but they failed IPL won't help you train together

IPL is a great platform,in a way it has helped our youngsters get feel of things on a grand stage,it has somehow dare i say has helped us in our test cricket well
