Lord Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 Pant,Nortje,Shaw,Stoinis will be the 4 players

ShoonyaSifar Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 Not surprising at all. Nearly 35, not retaining Ashwin is a logical choice. Even Dhawan for the same reason should be back in the auction. Shreyas Iyer will most likely have an opportunity to lead some other franchise now that Pant is DC's chosen captain.
vvvslaxman Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 Ashwin has a chance to join the oldies :) He will feel young Adi_91 and raki05 2

Lord Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 CSK will go big for Ashwin. Can be their future skipper too.
Majestic Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Shreyas was more deserving. He took the captaincy for DC when they were under crisis and got them to semi final for first time after 7 years and finals for first time ever in 2020. Pant took a strong team captaincy and got knocked out in the semi finals.

Will likely be among the the LOI captain candidates after 2023 WC. A better investment than Iyer who has fallen behind due to his injuries.
