zen Posted March 8, 2022 Author Share Posted March 8, 2022 (edited) Since Wade and Joseph are likely to miss the first 1-3 games, and assuming it is either Gurbaz or McDermott, below could be GT’s 11 for the first few games: Gurbaz (wk) Gill Shankar (could work better in the top order #1-3) … GT can give an opportunity to Sai Sudarshan as well or Saha if he is batting well SDP Miller Sadarangani (can be tried up the order as well) Tewatia Rashid Lockie Shami Dayal or Kishore or Jayant or … Much like how Aus had 3 ARs (Marsh, Maxwell, and Stoinis, along with Wade, in its top 7, GT could have Shankar, Tewatia, and Hardik, along with Wade when he returns. Hope these big hitters - Gurbaz, SDP, Miller, Sadarabgani, & Tewatia make good use of the small grounds and flat pitches at B’bay!! Gill and Shankar can tonk the bowling too … GT’s bowling attack (actually can call it an “attack”) is among the best.
