Ben just came back from a bad mental breakdown. He will bounce back. Ashwin is the one that mentally scarred him for life though lol. In India when he played, he purposely got out to sundar to avoid getting pinned by ash.
Bigg Brother Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 Liked the way Cricket.com.au cover their cricket and hype individual players. Look at the way they are celebrating Travis Head. The guy is plain mediocre, smashed hundred against England and already hundred articles about him.. Vijy and SRT100 1 1

neel roy Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 Is Labu the luckiest player alive. I remember India dropping him 6 times in the series. In Gabba itself he was dropped thrice..

mishra Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 Neser was very impressive with bat. He is a good find for Aussies. Gives them one more proper bat

Jhye has some potential. He Is a bit slower although he sure has a nasty bumper. Neser is no where near the main 3. Green might become a good bowler if he forgoes batting. It's going to be hard for him to excel in both.

He has an avg of 21 or so on the relatively flatt-ish domestic tracks over past 3-4 yrs. Again, this is not to say that he can match their top 3. Green will be an excellent player, but he needs to decide whether he wants to be bowling AR or batting AR

Still decent but yea. Not big 3 quality. Jhye has a higher ceiling but he needs to increase pace.

Green will be the next big player to watch out for. Edited December 19, 2021 by Vijy

Jhye is very nippy, he's coming back from injury pre injury he was bowling in excess 140+ I see him in Shami's pace category Bowlers usually take their own time to get back to best Vijy 1
Vijy Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 As per reports, Root is "injured". I just hope that he really is, and that it's not a stunt by ECB (not Root himself) to try and deflect some blame
LordPrabhzy Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 This Haseeb is a fraud. 2nd chance in the test team, yet he fluffs it. England first class batting and bowling pipeline is trash- they should be prepared to return to their late 90s quality of their test team which was absolutely rubbish. GeeGaw 1

I just hope that he really is, and that it's not a stunt by ECB (not Root himself) to try and deflect some blame Root seems broken... even before he got out, he was hit in the box by Starc 3 overs earlier. English bowling & fielding was listless. There was a period when Robinson resorted to bowling offspin from his pacy stuff. Last 10 overs were entirely bowled by part timers Root & Malan. Looks like 5-0 is inevitable. Also, the English cannot play both Broad & Anderson if they have to develop bowlers. Edited December 19, 2021 by diga Vijy 1
