She flirts with peter whereas he was unpopular (so that makes character difference) Role of heroine ??? U serious .............Mary jane character had enough going on for her inside and served enugh conflict outside. Thats what characterization is . As i said Esha can be whatever but they made character so plain one note and boring that no one cared. Why do u think character failed for everyone Basic rule of screenwriting ur characters cannot be plain one note character . Even if you are innocent happy go lucky which even mary jane was , u need more character to keep it interesting. Mary jane character kept on going conflict in the film whereas Esha for3 hours was a innocent nice girl..............bad writing Mary jane character made a journey from point A to b (thats Character development) Point of any scene, character, story is only one in end it has to reach from Point A to B , if it doesnt u have wasted time. IF their plan is to hide her agenda till next part well make her character interesting. Mary jane caused conflict and hence served screenplay, Esha didnt as she just went with flow . Audience wud have erupted had they done that and it wud have created a better hype for sequel which is what Vikram did with Surya character . End a film on a note that audience wud wanna come back for next one like Kattapa twist or Rolex character did .................. Ranveer vs Ranbir in itself wud have been a big selling point KGF 1 did it with a kill in the end to look for in the sequel . Just like Pushpa has left a lot of scope for developing the antagonist in Fazil. That’s what LOTR did in each of the trilogy KGF and LOTR showed something of a preview of the sequel in the end credits as well. Both screens are showing EXACTLY THE SAME SEATS booked in both shows? Hows thus possible. This is pointing to the fact that since last weekend which was tis first weekend the shows atleast in UK are been running near empty so these collections reported are fake.
