Some (albeit not all?) greenbros will tell you that it was "just one bad day" and that the BCCI+ECB+CA cheated them out of the cup that should have been theirs by birthright. Jay and raki05 2

Yes, it was a just one bad day against Australia ( other part of your post is childish though ) , this Pakistan team beat SL, BD, Afghanistan and a month ago beat India too in UAE. This was the only team to beat India, the new champion . Try to discuss things on merit.

"childish" --> so is calling bumrah a chucker and then alleging that there's some grand Indian conspiracy to prevent Indian bowlers from being called. Perhaps you should also try to stick to the facts and "discuss things on merit" - unless such baseless allegations are proven, they will remain baseless. Edited February 6, 2022 by Vijy Suhaan 1

This is my way of appreciating Indian under 19 teams over the years , they have been so dominant , either they win it or make it to final . I'm happy and congratulate them for their success, nothing bitter about it, at all. I'm very very impressed with this Champion team , they thoroughly deserved the title, they showed so much maturity , team spirit and big match temperament at this young age . So what's the point of moaning about most of them not making it to the top tier? Of course they wouldn't, there's only so many places up for grabs. But if they can dominate Ranji at FC level and be good enough for IPL, then they'd be deemed super successful. Unmukt Chad was an anomaly precisely because he couldn't even hack it at Ranji level. Most of you post here like U19 is a waste of talent if they didn't go on to average 50s in international cricket. LOL. On the contrary, if they go on to raise the level of competition in Ranji, that would be a resounding success. yes, we need more such players. piyush chawla for instance proved to be a very good domestic player even though his int'l career was not that great (it wasn't bad though).
