Thanks for the memories, Team India

With this series loss, a brief period of utter dominance is coming to an end. Series victories in Australia and England will be memorable. Not to mention that it was our B side which beat Australia. Whoever watched test cricket in last one year is lucky to register the best Indian test team ever. My favourite memory is Lords victory and that freak spell by Siraj.

I am not disappointed by this loss, I kinda saw that coming. Every good thing comes to an end. I request you all not to insult or bash any of our players. Beating any team away from home is never easy. It's just law of averages striking us.

I sincerely believe it is the end of the golden period of Indian pace bowling, starting from Bumrah's debut in 2018. They were not going to average under 25 every series. With Shami aging and law of averages hitting Bumrah, we need to quickly find and groom backups quickly. I wish it lasted longer, but, you can't always get what you wo oo nt.

When did we win the series in England?

We would have won with form and psychological factor on our side. I know the 5th test is 50-50. Since, I am talking about last one year or so, we are winning 2-1. With the form gone, I am not too optimistic of our chances in last test.

Not only is our form gone.   Eng will hv Ben Stokes back.   After losing to Aus in ashes, they will be on revenge mode and likely to screw us.    Mark my words.

Seniority complex has destroyed this team,Tried and tested failures were always in the playing 11 instead of a young player scoring 100 on his debut.

Prasidh,Saini,Avesh should have been played alongside Bumrah and Shami to gain valuable experience.

series was there for the taking, how can a side carrying three passengers and an already weak batting order expected to win on tough batting surfaces

bowlers as always bowled out of their skins to lessen the shame to the batting, but the void was too big to fill

One series doesnt destroy the team. Remember that India is pretty much the only side which does well in foreign conditions and have done well in Australia, England, and other series in West Indies as well.

Even this series was largely competitive and could have been won if the selection was more pro active. Hopefully, the team will learn from this and get better.

What u did not mention is that India failed to win or draw any test series in NZ in last decade whereas ranked 9th Toygers tied the series there.    And India lost back to back test series under kohli in SA, where the ranked 7th SL beat them in 2019 and Eng beat them in 2020.

Chokli said we won in Australia and England in the press-conference.

Hey MORON, you haven't played in Australia and you haven't won in England. Idiot.

he seems to be thinking that he will win the 5th test in Eng. I don't see it happening.

It was two years ago, it is obvious now.

My guess is that the Indian setup, since Rahul Dravid period, prioritized shorter overs cricket over tests and we can see it in results.

We have been getting better in shorter formats. Won the WT20 and Champions Trophy and were the deserving winners of the World Cup. At the same time, the drop in our bowling standards in tests have been consistently overlooked.

We overachieved earlier, now we are bowling worse than we can on potential.

Will bump this when I see a positive change coming.
