Indian team has barely managed to dominate SA except day 1 in current tour

Have a feeling that we are going to rock the last day of the tour too just like the first day.

So, it is effectively first and last we do well and suck all the way in between the tour.

Not satisfactory to be honest as an Indian cricket fan.
If India won at least one series out of test and ODIs at least by 2-1 margin, we could have been happy.

it will be like a sandwich, with subpar material in between

Our bowlers hv managed to pick a total of 7 wickets in both ODIs combined.  At an outstanding avg of 3.5 wickets per match. Batsmen can't win matches if bowlers are always *****.  (Though batsmen could hv shown more intent). Hope Prasidh replaces baggage Bhuvi from here on.  Ashwin also should be replaced, but there is no spinner in the squad to replace him.  Maybe J Yadav gets to play today. Atleast will come to know his utility. Though he is 31.

Selectors should be asked this question what kind of team they have chosen where a backup spinner is 31 years old and not sure when he played last time for india in loi. Also on what basis they have choosen Bhuvi and Ashwin.

As many hv pointed out earlier, Dravid's conservative approach of going for useless 'experienced' players whose expiry date had gone long ago, will not work in modern day cricket.  Hope he learns his lessons sooner rather than later.  There is no much time to think as t20 Wc and odi Wc both are approaching fast.

or he may not learn them at all. just because he was a "smart" cricketer (or perhaps captain) doesn't necessarily translate to being a smart coach as well

Coach has no say in selection.

I've completely lost the belief I had in our test bowling attack after this tour. Batting was actually pretty okay considering all things  .

There is no way any decent bowling attack would have let this SAF batting lineup (with Jansen at 7) chase down two 4th inning totals in excess of 200 that too on wickets that aren't flat by any means. Huge huge let down.....

Actually SA team members joined the bubble one day before the  game so they were not prepared in first game otherwise we would lost that game as well

( source ashwin YouTube channel)

if not for that poor 1st day, they did have a good chance of winning the match
