Players should consider switching sides....no point of fighting for a place in the Ranji team which already has "tried and failed" set of seniors blocking.

Likes of Aniket Chaudhary, Tanveer Ul Haq and Rituraj Singh's time is up long back...still they keep on hogging the place under the seniority quota.

Bloody unlucky he could have been a potential Hero overnight had that catch been taken by Arshdeep.  His twin strikes would have done the job & India probably would have won Asia Cup too. 

Chahal's career would have finished.  Bishnoi would have replaced him in WT20 & who knows what could have happened? 

 

That drop by Arshdeep had far reaching effects on Indian cricket.

All this dirty politics to accommodate useless Chahal. Forget Bishnoi, no matter what Kuldeep does, this corrupt TM will play Chahal ahead of him in future ICC KOs, just like they did in 2019.

its wrong to think Bishnoi would have been retained if Arshdeep took the catch. They'd have found another excuse to play Chahal

Not after that potential MoTM performance...  Game was gone when he came to bowl. 

Although I agree Chahal would have replaced Kuldeep coz he is a clown to provide entertainment. 

But at least Bishnoi would have played Wt20 over him coz Chahal was so useless for TM to be trusted in T20 WC.

Chahal played the same game and was way worse than Bishnoi. Bishnoi was dropped next game v SL

 

If that's not enough,one wicket wouldn't have mattered. 

 

It might have given him some token games but Chahal would be back eventually.

Indian team deserve to lose matches if management is blind to talent .  If talented player like Bishnoi needs Arshdeep catch to get more chances in the team . Then something  is  wrong with Indian set up  ( Corrupted fron selector to coach to captain ) how special a player he is ......

There are too many controversial selection issues going on. His case got lost somehwere along the line although he still has a legitimate reason to be peeved to be sidelined.  Kuldeep non-selection after MOM award. Omission of Sarfraz Khan,  Use of KL Rahul as keeper too many things overshadowed his case.  But given that T20s take the backseat as ODIs are priority, India had a perfect opportunity to use Bishnoi in place of Chahal. These are non-consequential T20s. Next year Chahal will be 34. He can't bat/field. What is the point of him
