Majestic
ABD is a revolutionary of modern era LOI cricket. Just changed the way the modern day LOI cricket is played. You can have your Kohli and Rohit for stats and most runs but as a neutral, de Villiers is a guy you would sit and watch to simply admire the beauty of his game. raki05 and Vijy 2 Link to comment

He is better than both tbh.abd is a much better and more clutch than kohli in odi. He actually scores well in semi final of 2015 wc that he played. Majestic, raki05 and Vijy 3 Link to comment

ABDV is also choker, although not quite in Kohli league (when comparing Kohli in ODIs alone; not referring to T20s). Link to comment

Yes but he was batting beautifully in that game, got to 35 and then had an epic run out choke with Faf at other end. Just finds a way to lose major knockouts.Perhaps the South African thing. Adamant
If placement of shots is being considered, then there is no one better than prime Kohli. Laraesque. Link to comment

Rain came after that and he had to set himself in again but Miller was smashing at other end so he didn't got much strike and ended not out at 65 of 45 balls. Kohli will most likely end better because of all the statistics and consistency he will have but AB was just so more exciting to watch, never stat padded. Got three hundreds in India in 2015 ODI series, the last one was in Mumbai where he got more cheer than even Rohit or Kohli get. Edited March 14, 2022 by Majestic Jay 1 Link to comment
nevada
I wish he had played 1-2 seasons more in the IPL. His batting is enjoyable to watch regardless of which side you are rooting for. Ankit_sharma03, TheWall and Cricspin 3 Link to comment

Dhawan is more clutch than all 3 though. Link to comment

Kohli harnessed his inner dwelling choker the day he took over as Kaptaan, had he stayed away from it he wouldn't have been this bad in KOs raki05 1 Link to comment
