Expect him to disappear suddenly similar to the likes of RP Singh if he continues to bowl in the early 130s.

Prime bhuvi was a very good bowler tbf. But mavi needs to bring back his pace and bounce

He forgot he is no Bhuvi. His strengths are different. Bhuvi's immaculate defensive line and lengths with subtle variations of swing made him a huge T20 success. Mavi again needs to start bowling 140-145k. Otherwise, he will fade away soon. KKR may even release him next if he keeps bowling like this.

He has been doing well in ranji though.

Unadkat can bat. He can actually be our number 8 bowler batsman overseas like thakuraaa.

Mavi can bat too. He can be our number 8 easily.

In that case Mavi needs to get a secondary skill asap, if he can become a Woakes level batter then maybe he will be able to find a place at no 8 in KKR.
But I don't think he is that good with the bat yet, maybe a 12-15 run batter but for a proper no 8 he need to contribute 20-25 runs.

Sad thing is even in last IPL, he was bowling at 135-140, but this season he is clocking majority of his bowls in early 130's.

Mavi's attitude has been really disappointing in the last 2 years.

He is just gently placing the ball without any pace and bounce.

A short pacer bowling at medium pace ... without any bounce or movement ... is a very sad sight to watch.

Hope he goes back to bowling at full pace and with effort.

Looks like the kid who was quick and had so much potential has decided he wants to be Bhuvi . Just such a disappointing sight, just like Khaleel who suddenly wanted to bowl like Zak.

You mean the Bhuvi that increased his pace in the 2nd half of his career and started bowling around 140 regularly?

he has been learning from gens of indian pacers who arrived as genuine quicks and then degenerated into trundlers for various reasons
