So the team that will play and within that constraint I would prefer this 11 and 15 Rohit Klr Kohli Hooda Sky Sdp DK/Jadeja Hit the deck bowler- Avesh Bhuvi Bumrah Chahal Jadeja/DK Harshal Ashwin to play in some matches Pant

I do believe this will be the 1st choice team that will play (not commenting here on my preferences). 2. I believe this team will do badly. Rohit has not looked in good touch, KL is mentally weak, Kohli is currently in very bad touch (even though his T20 stats up to last year are top), Pant doesn't seem to have decoded T20 batting, and Jaddu is not a sufficiently destructive lower order bat. Coming to bowling: Bumrah will done, but can potentially choke in KOs. Boobi and Harshal, at least one in a given match will get tonked hard. However, at this point, if I give 11 points (1 for each player) to the team that played the opening game in 2021 WC, below is how I would rate the team in the OP (adding and subtracting from 1 in 0.25 units): Rohit 0.50 (-50%) KL 1.00 (=) Kohli 0.50 (-50%) Pant 0.75 (-25%) SKY 1.25 (+25%) SDP 1.50 (+50%) Jadeja 0.75 (-25%) Harshal 1.00 (new player) Bhuvi 0.75 (-25%) Bumrah 1.00 (=) Yuzi 1.00 (new addition) Overall 10 today v 11 for 2021 (relatively less strong on paper. Conditions too were more suitable in UAE). The team may have to “hope” that many of its players strike some of their best form in the tournament to be competitive. Edited July 16, 2022 by zen

You are right let's recollect 1)Chuckrah 2017 massive choke final in champions trophy but fair enough first tournament 2) chcukrah was brilliant in 2019. He did do well even in semis. Controlled things. We dropped some catches. 3) 2020 massive choke in wtc 4) 2021 did pretty good in WC but had no support from batters. 110 and 150 on those pitches was never going to be enough if you are batting first. He did bowl fairly well in spite of not taking wickets vs Pakistanies. 5) he will Do well in the new tournament. Bg series winner twice too. 6) 2023 wc I am worried. We should drop him lol.
