• So no Kohli? He should have played this series
• No KL Rahul still. Can we risk him straight to world cup if he cant make the Asia cup team as well?
• Why is Sky & Chahal not playing? They need more games considering they only play 1 format and is guaranteed to play in WT20.

SKY either dropped or they are thinking about not confusing him with multiple formats before a major event.

 

Rahul is rested to make sure all of Samson, Hooda, Gill can play. He will play Australia series before WT20.

Rahul need match practice before Asia Cup/T20 world cup. He could have easily gone to Zimb and score some runs to get much needed practice. Same with Virat. Not sure on what basis they are resting him?

Match practice? We have two series before WT20. SA and Aus.

@Chakdephatte - so Kohli/Rahul next match will be against Pakistan on 28th August. Good luck facing Shaheen Afridi without any practice.

Rahul played on these pitches straight after quarantine. One doesn't just forget how to play after coming back.
