Avesh is such a third class bowler. How many series this trundler needs more. He has been thrashed around in all those matches and still got selected, even old man Shami is much better than this useless trundler. He ll loose some matches at crucial juncture. And why?? What so special about him, getting thrashed for 11 rpo every match. I am not sure what's the explanation for it they dropped Umran after one match and playing this shitty bowlers since last 3-4 series. How many more series he needs to flourish or demolish.

In IPL - Kuldeep scored over ashwin in wkts , but he bowled mostly in middle phases no other phase. 
            Ash scored over him in eco and remember ashwin bowled overs in PP and death to . Ash also provided batting over him . Despite bowling tough overs Ash eco was way better then kuldeep . 

            Ash is one of the best against lefties in world cricket 

 

Ashwin hasnt done any wrong post his comeback 

Ashwin offers  captain more then kuldeep - Bowling in more phases, batting, more experience . Now with Harshal and bumrah injuries ashwin becomes more valuable as he can bowl in any phase .

Don't exaggerate. His economy is 8.7 which is not good, but manageable.

Since Jan 2022, KL has not played any intl cricket.  Even in that series against SA, his batting looked below par.   Yet he makes his undisputed return to the team as VC in such a crucial tournament involving our arch rivals.   Did he score tons of runs in the domestic recently?

he scored 600+ runs in IPL (thats domestic t20)

after that their has been no cricket in domestic ...............with his record he shud absolutely walk in team . Its just been 3 months not like 1-2 yrs

Shoaib malik would have feasted against this slow indian attack but he is not in contention for Australia.

I am only talking about last few series... Go check his bowling....what manageble, if you are justifying his position based on overall economy rate ,Why do you need selectors, captain and coach , ci stats data should use for selection.In last 3-4 series which he played other than one match where he was forced man of the match i have only seen him carted around mercilessly. Doesn't have any swing, variation, pace, zip plain stupid trundling. Not sure where is the exaggeration other than him being part of Indian team.
