I have absolutely no respect for majority of Indian politicians since many of them have criminal backgrounds, they are uneducated, change political party for money or fear of ED raids. The ruling party is always scheming on how to create more bloodshed to win more votes from the majority community to remain in power since they have nothing positive to prove when it comes to growth in the last eight years. Some of these NRI Bhakts who are also minorities in the West & parts of Europe expect to be treated with fairness & equality in Democratic developed countries but when it comes to minorities in India....they are happy to see them suppressed. This is the bigotry of the highest order. There is no way one can reason or debate with people like these. There should be a topic about what is the plan for minorities by BJP, especially for the sizable Muslim population, no amount of bloodshed can drive out all the Muslims from India, so what other method will BJP try to win them? I would appreciate the insight, suggestions & points of BJP supporters of ICF. Good post. The diehard BJP supporters over here are good people but at times they lose objectivity. They aren’t going to forget that so easy. Talk to any educated person who is forty plus from any state and they all can’t deny the change BJP bought in India. It is only Muslims that tag is given to despite being sizable! There are other real minorities like Parsis, Jains, Buddhists , Christian (except conversion brigades) and even majority of Sikhs (except Khalistani sleeper cells and Punjabi Arthiyas) who are perfectly flourishing under so called fascist majority. The real focus should be on education for people not doing well . 1. Despite being majority among minorities, Muslims are the poorest. Others have about 15-20% college going despite being just 2-3% of total population, Muslims are like 6% for being 15 % of total population. Most get educated in Madrasas and drop out of high school. The first thing their community leaders have to do is look at these numbers instead of propagandizing beef and azaan culture. 2. Politicians should stop appeasing them as minorities. In India, every sect subsect caste creed can claim minority status. Focus on their upliftment and stop communal politics 3. BJP is equally promoting appeasement in terms of govt policies if you think they are communal. 3. NRIs are minorities and live as one bending their heads and focusing on personal growth pay taxes and don’t worry about religion being hindered in USA , just a model immigrant. My slums being Indians seems to have other priorities. In the RS and the LS the Congress is the leader of the opposition. They are nobodies. It's a pity stalwarts like Kejriwal are being spat on by his own mentor who he used to come to the public attention. Also, pity he couldn't name anyone other than himself and Sisodia as ppl that were offered money. I guess they don't have recording facility on their phones. Actually, congress has a better shot at winning then BJP in Punjab but IO am glad they both lost to AAP. If AAP does not perform, I would prefer BJP/Akali Dal combo over congress right now. Keeping propoganda and idelology aside, NDTV programs were structured and often quite informative.
