how is one game 'familiar' scorecard?

They have been saving our arses for a time now.

First time in a while all top 3 came good and that too was on surface Nawaz scored at 200 SR.

Long time means two three months?

And the middle order scored at 100 str rate.

When our top oder was in form we won 5-1 in odi series vs SA.

When our middle order was in "form" we lost the series in SA (weaker version).

The main difference was kulcha dont forget, they ran through south africa, the moment they were dismantled we lost

The top order carried this team for a decade without any significant contribution from middle order. Now we have seen geniuses calling these so called middle order as some sort saviors without them doing much. Let them do it for couple of seasons before we annoint them.

Please check the batting scores we posted in that series and then compare it with the new ones.

We have nobody imposing in the line up that gives the confidence like Yuvraj used to give. It is a total lottery who will click who will not click in the middle. Also almost all of them are limited in one way or the other. This is precisely why we have IPL for. To identify big hitters. Alas most of the big hitters are from either England or West Indies.
