India was in a must win situation. He delivered it. Hard to define it. How is this meaningless t20 a crucial game. Australia did not even field their best team.

Number Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Pandya's knock today.. although not clutch but I would say it was one of its own kind. He never looked bogged down despite playing dot balls on those wide yorkers and in the end managed to hit one perfectly. It was like a boxer getting puched at weakest spot again and again and in the end delivering a knock out. sarcastic, vvvslaxman and Norman 3

Need4Speed Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Copying from other thread… “I am very happy with Indian win..but soon after got a reality check from another incredible match between Eng and Pak..what we lack.. 1)Number 8 batsmen who can turn match on its head.. 2)An express bowler who can turn match on its head… If we can fill these gaps we wont often choke at ICC KOs Actually these both performance shud be in the clutch thread..”

vvvslaxman Posted November 4, 2022 Author Posted November 4, 2022 Let us revisit this thread 1) Kohli vs Pakistan 2) Arshdeep vs Pakistan. Knocked them out cold. Norman 1
vvvslaxman Posted November 18, 2022 Author Posted November 18, 2022 Basically one clutch innings for India in the world T20. Kohli's fifty against Pakistan. Several anti-clutch knocks though. Vijy 1

zen Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 (edited) SDP 40 runs (w/ Ind 31/4) + 3 wkts (or Pak coukd have got a bigger total) v Pak 63 off 33 v Eng in SF Ind’s MVP Edited November 19, 2022 by zen
cricketfan28 Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 If pandya drops seniors for good in t20 that will be an all time clutch performance.
zen Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 (edited) If Kohli had got out on the first ball in the SF, it would have been acceptable. But he, along w/ Rohit, went on to dig Ind’s grave by wasting tons of balls despite India having wkts in hand. That is a double strike against these players. Edited November 18, 2022 by zen
