But we know what will happen. Umran will carry drinks and ghaswalla will play as he is a leftie.  Like Sen, Sai kishore , should have considered Kumar kartikeya from long term point of view.

Kuldeep deserves a go in ODIs.

We won't have Prasidh, Siraj and Shami. Bumrah maybe rested.

So who will be the pacers in ODIs ?

Shardul, Rishi D and random trundlers ??

Shardul Siraj D Chahar seems like the likely lineup...  Maybe even Umesh.

Happy to be proven wrong though.  But Sen in RoI squad has all but confirmed this

In Irani Cup, the current Ranji Trophy champions take on the Rest of India squad in a one-off Test match.

Saurashtra defeated Bengal in the Ranji final thanks to their first-inning lead In March 2020. The Irani Cup match that the winners were scheduled to play was postponed a week later owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In India, the virus was still at large, hence the 2020–21 domestic cricket season did not feature any red-ball matches. After that, Madhya Pradesh won the Ranji Trophy after defeating Mumbai by six wickets in the final in June of the 2021–22 cricket season.

The BCCI has now provided Saurashtra with an opportunity to compete with the top first-class players in the nation.

Meanwhile, it is yet not known when MP, the current Ranji champions, will be able to compete in the Irani Cup.

The most recent Irani Cup competition took place in Nagpur in February 2019. In that contest, Vidarbha defeated the Rest of India

5 openers in Eashwaran,Panchal,Jaiswal,Dhull,Agarwal.

Only 2 middle order batsman in Vihari and Sarfaraz Khan

But all these guys are good.

Openers and Middle order batsman are a bit different but still batsman so dont differentiate much. i was a mid order batsman batting at no 5 but once i scored a 60 and batted from 5th till 29th over in a 35 over match so i was asked to Open and since then i was a opener , its like if you play straight and start batting on nets against the new ball, you learn how to Open. Opener is a batsman who knows how to play straight bat cricket rather than play awkward shots like sarfaraz or Suryakumar yadav , but both these guys also can open..so gist is if they are good ..no worries pick them ..all are good batsman so its a correct selection among batsman.
