I was actually amazed that so many people buy into such stupid nonsenses. A lot of Pakistani and a few Indian channels spent so much time discussing similarities.

Yes. With 15 more runs from their batsmen and without the injury exit of Afridi, Pakistan may very well have won. Some amount of luck is needed to win WCs and if believing in destiny, a repeat of the 1992 miracle keeps the Paxtanis motivated, so be it. Better to go in with positive superstition and self belief than to be scared chickens and put in gutless performance like our nalayaks.
