Who should be the new LOI opening bowlers for Ind?

Bhuvi in swinging conditions is a beast.  Even in swinging conditions he is good only with new ball.

Sunder is good enough batter at 7 ,  Then add to it Chahar and Bishnoi at 8 and 9 . It will be good enough batting lower down the order . If Mohsin is good with bat , he can be considered along with Bumrah .

Sundar is not a big hitter. We need a big hitter at 7.

 

Arshdeep being a surety for the time being, Chahar playing means we will have almost no pace in the attack barring Bumrah. So, it is better to pick a spinner allrounder and go with a pace attack of Bumrah, Arshdeep and Mohsin / Umran.  Chahar can come in if Arshdeep is missing

Firstly TM and selectors should part ways with like for like theory -Its not like that Ind teams has found a golden (goldilock) formula so they can not  deviate.

For now Chahar and Singh looks okay. Chahar bcoz he can bat and hit the ball lower down the order, no more Bhuvi he is been v.flat when there is no assistance from wkt .

They should also not be fixed with Singh and should look if there are better left arm fast options who can bat.

 

Also need to look for other leg spinner options same reason India team need bowlers who can contribute with the bat. And last 2 wc are evidences that Chahal wont be included in playing 11 in big tournaments because of his average fielding and batting skills. If they still retain him in the team then there is no cheque and balances in this team.

Remove Bhuvi from setup..keeping him is the guarantee you will struggle against good teams in knockout stages..keeping Bhuvi means we are going backwards..

even if we loose few bilateral series in the process of grooming youngsters suggested by earlier posters is a net positive step..

Pandya will mostly retire from ODIs.to keep himself injury free..

keep an eye/scouts on domestic circuit for bowlers who are bowling 145+ and groom them in A tours IPLS etc for 2nd string or may be play them in India 2nd side..

Siraj needs to be ur senior bowler and also tighten Prasidh Krishna

Bishnoi is attacking spinner..he needs to be improving on batting..Sundar too

to plug any interim gaps we can keep Chahar
