I will persist with Shami ensuring the right workload management for him and open to other alternatives instead of Prasidh, preferably a left arm pacer like Mohsin or even Arshdeep if he continues to impress.

That is exactly my preferred course of action too.

 

The objective should be very clear.

 

" He deserves another chance " , " What wrong has he done ? " , " He is the next in line due to List A performances " etc. are not pertinent points.  People who lack clarity of thought regarding the objective say these things.

 

Just pick a squad which gives you the highest chance of winning the Cup.

I like this team. 

 

Just replace Rohit at the top with some batsman except Dhawan and Rahul. Maybe open with Pant and play Shreyas at 5.

Bhai Rohit captain hai. Usko kiski himmat hogi replace karneki till World Cup or even beyond.

Do not need batting depth in India. No need of 3 pacers if Pandya available.

Kal nahi bhi ho sakta hai if the BCCI wants some real change and try to win the cup for a change.

Kuldeep Sen has picked up 14 wickets from 4 List A matches in VHT.

 

Took 4 wickets from 2 Unofficisl ODIs at a low ER playing for India A.

 

Plus is tall and quick with a decent yorker and big indipper.

 

We need wicket takers like this in our setup.

Dropping Rohit isn't realistic. 

So hr is gonna be there no matter what.
