Tho yes Lloris being his club team mate is an added level of complexity to it all. Its a tough one but I would tell him to try to move on, remind him that he has been fantastic for England for years and dug them out of many holes and had a good tournament overall.

If someone else had taken it and missed then you would all be on Kane's case for not stepping up. Even if he score France probably would have scored again, they're a team who know how to step it up.
