Narayan Jagadeesan (FC avg - 39, List A avg -49).. Had a strong domestic season. 

Should be picked as the second wicketkeeper in the squad along with KS Bharat

I think Ishan Kishan has not even played as a wicket keeper in any match for Jharkhand in this year's Ranji season. He has played as a specialist batsmen. I would prefer someone who can keep well to spinners

This isn't a line at the greasy punjabi buffet where next man up gets the chance for paneer makhni.  Selection to the Indian team needs to be clear-headed. 

 

Of course, you do want a degree of fairness so that the fringe players feel that they can continue to invest their hard work in return of a shot - but ultimately its the strongest XI that gets picked.

At the very least because its being played in India, ie subcontinental conditions which would suit his batting I would go for Kishan.

S Bharath scored 80 in latest Ranji round. He is playing and is in decent form. Should get a go.

He is keeping for TN in the ongoing Ranji season and has kept quite a bit in the past as well.. I don't know how reliable as a keeper he is, but he has kept in quite a few matches in red ball
