Those clowns also have a relatively faster red soil pitch. But too afraid of Joseph n Shami when you have Wood? Just too content to play on slow low bounce pitches to accommodate slower bowlers.

But agree about pitches. This is probably the worst place in the world for fast bowlers.

Yesterday Chepauk was also a disgusting pitch where Jadeja was turning miles.

Pleasantly surprised that Umran bowled better than Bhuvi & Jansen there...  Albeit he was lower on pace than usual

This IPL hasn't been that conducive compared to last one

Heatwave, multiple matches pitches are getting sluggish as it goes on

Mumbai Pune DY Patil had red soil & fast pitches last IPL.  Hence we saw resurgence of so many pacers.  This time it is back to usual.

Even UAE (except Sharjah)  in phase 1 had greenish pitches with a lot of movement & bounce.

On a true pitch, Sandeep Sharma 0/26 (2).

This is why Trundlers can never be successful. They are so dependent on conditions and pitch.

Caught the Star sports Pre show...  Sandeep Sharma was being shown as some Marshall or Holding Steyn who denied Thala a fairy tail finish lmao

Respect for swing bowlers in this country is off the charts.

Sardarji has good arm speed. When he wants he can up the pace.

Nah. His arm speed is slow and has a soft loading. Slow arm speed means better control but loading needs to be a bit stiffer, will get quicker.

and he won DC a game in the last over. :cheer:

( But can't help wondering Washington inability to hit 12 in last over with only 4 fielders outside )

you yourself said it was a sluggish pitch and Mukesh was not trundling in the last over bowled 139-141 kph.

Sundar is not a finisher. If you bowl loose ball he probably would capitalized on it. But they were good balls.  He bowled similarly against another team as well.
