Not likely, since Christianity is shaky at its fundamentals and christianity has shown they will do 'religion jaaye bhaar mein, keep the numbers up' game too- here in the west we now have lgbt churches, who are pro-lgbt. Christianity isnt a problem for much longer, their fundamentals are collapsing in the west and their history is extremely tainted, plus there is this inconvinient fact 99% Indians dont know or dont care about - christians have industrialized scale of pedophilia in their priesthood. They constitute hundreds of thousands of registered child rape cases in the world and as religious clergy, represent like 99.99% of all child-rape related crimes for all religious clergy in the world put together- which is a stunning fact. yes. if u added up all the pedo bacchey-baaz mullahs+ pedo-babas + pedo-fakirs+pedo bhikkus  in the world, you get like 0.01-1.00% of all the pedo priests on the planet, rest are all christians.

If christianity becomes a real problem, this is the checkmate against it that the west has used very effectively and is gonna be even more effective in Indian culture : how the hell can we take lessons from priest from religion who are 99% of all child-raper priests on planet earth, despite being like 20-25% of all priests on planet earth.

There is one solution I approve for Marathi supremacists. 

It'd called paid back in their own coin and promote kannada supremacists. 

Afterall all maharashtra is kannada originally and breakaway from kannada- oldest inscriptions of local language in maharashtra are ALL satavhana kannada inscriptions ( along with satavagana Telugu and satavahana Sanskrit inscriptions, the 3 languages we find Satavahan inscriptions.

I am a longtime student of history.

There is a set of royal title, of great import, in Indian inscriptions, which ranks equal to/greater than emperor (samraat/maharajdhiraj) in prestige order : Uttarapatheswamin & Dakshinapatheswamin: Lord of the northern route and Lord of the Southern route.

Never knew a marathi or a tamil or a mallu to hold the title: its always Kannadigas and Telegus, with mostly Kannadigas holding the title. So as far as i am concerned, marathi manoos is just confused kannadiga manoos.
