Frustrated Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 A score of 275-300 would be a match winning one on this green pitch. Aus are almost there. Need to add some more.

Umran will make Umesh look like McGrath with his control. He will never be a Test or even ODI bowler. We should use him only in T20s as a middle overs enforcer like Pak does with Haris Rauf.
vvvslaxman Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Would be nice if we go into decider in 5th test from an entertainment perspective. Australia could very well lose t his after a poor performance in the firs tinnings.

Kothili Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 I dont understand this approach from Carey. Too timid with the bat.

Ahahahahaha... What braindead selection. If anything Bazball mentality should be about picking the fastest bowlers in your country

Kothili Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Just now, Lord said: they should have retained Hazelwood. Hazlewood is a trundler like Ollie R. He might get bounce but he has been missing all series.

If they see off Cummins and Starc is missing the radar Australia will be in a hopeless position. Murphy is too raw. Every now and then he bowls a rubbish ball.

Backing 4 high quality seamers with variety is the best way to win tests overseas even with average batting side. India had briefly. Once Ishant was done and Bumrah picked up injury we lost that variety.

Eng can bazball and theh wouldn't care if they overhaul this total in 50 or 60 overs with all out. Stokes is in form too and Cummins, Boland don't have the pace. Eng should be wary of Boland. He relishes bounce

sage Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 England will get around 400 at 5+ RPO and should have this test in the bag. Good bowling by Wood
