Labu , we still don't know if he is a real talent or was making merry on poor bowling from pakistanis and other inferior teams

 

Inspite of getting so many lucky chances against India he rarely clicked..  He was extremely lucky against India in Australia and even in this test he was very lucky but still did not make it count.

By this logic if Ponting got out early during one of his mis-timed aerial shots before reaching 50, we would have won the World Cup in 2003.

 

Winning crucial moments are not easy, which is why they are called crucial in the first place!

The biggest difference here is Moeen getting Smith and Labuschagne out for cheap, while Murphy is just a passenger relatively.

You are making up a “logic” … we are talking about close games, where someone like a Cummins clicked with the bat in the first game, and in the 2nd, Stokes almost got Eng home with a 155 … if talking about ODIs for comparison, more apt examples would be Eng v NZ final in 2019 or even Ind v NZ SF which was a relatively close game too

Crucial moments can go either way. They are not pre-planned and are specific to particular games.

india destroyed him in 2018. same tactics is needed. he is scared of bumrah and ishant. 

in 2021 every time pace bowls neck length and short, he struggles badly. he is still good in other shots though. you cant bowl away from him, he will smack you around. 

towards neck or just near glove area.
