SSA is also pretty decent with the bat.....I think he has played some match winning innings for Lahore in PSL. 

 

We need to add Nawaz instead of Ifti or Agha. Nawaz will give us a strong left hander and someone who bowls tight left arm spin - ideal for world cup in India.

Fakhar/Imam are really hit and miss players. 

 

Imam goes missing in important matches while Fakhar is very inconsistent.

Yes. Chahar played quite well those days. Injuries ruined him but he was an upfront 5 over bowler. Nothing more than that and a handy batsman. His batting down the order would have given us many options.

So does Pandu in batting. He will only play when situation is hopeless and there is no possibility of victory yo hog some limelight. But whenever you really need him to hit he would get out. Ex wc 23 against pak when kohli was going bonker this guy couldn't even touch a single deliver of Rauf in 19th over and on 20th over first ball got out like an idiot he played with 90 sr in that match when ask was 14-15 runs per over in last 3 overs.

Just saw the highlights lol..what a typical Afghanistan way of losing a match against Pakistan. Happened more times than I can count..

 

It's amazing how many times they keep throwing away games with absolutely filthy bowling at crucial stages.

That 49th over was absolute joke level. First ball could have been 5 wides but Shadab hit that to fielder. Last ball was a no ball clearly.

Yes. Very close game. They needed 16 off 6 in the last over with well set Nabi. He hit a four off first ball and then Shami took a hat trick. We won by 11 runs.

Yes. And? Pakistan have been "nearly losing" these games against Afghanistan for 5 years. They have never won convincingly against them...Says absolutely nothing.

He has improved his batting but his primary skill (bowling) has remained stagnant in longer formats. 

 

Complete opposite of Jadeja in the Dhoni era where his batting went to the dogs but improved into an invaluable bowler.
