Lmaoo...stop it man!

They are huffing and puffing against Afghanistan and you think they can beat teams like Australia or England? If we pick the right XI , even we can trounce them easily lol.

Shadab is such an improved cricketer, never thought he'd make it this far when I saw him 5-6 years back.

He is their best fielder too. We carried collar chewer for so long. He birings nothing else to the table other than bowling outsider power play.

This Naseem also saved a test match for Pak. He is a tough bloke and has a solid technique. He looked very strong mentally. Not a mental fukin clown that we have in our team.

On his debut tour to australia when he was still a teenager, he got the news of his mother passing away, yet he still stayed on and on the next day bowled this spell.

And these were his comments right after yesterday's effort.

Pakistan batting has most definitely some holes & glaring ones at that.

Indian pace attack is infinitely better than Afghans & I rate Kuldeep's sheer talent & skill wise ahead of Rashid.  It reflects in their performance on bigger stage vs big teams.

Rashid has declined with his googly bowling & predictable pace.  Unless you go out an all out attack on him...  He is manageable unlike Kuly.

It all boils down to India's ability to handle Pakistani spinners & that new ball burst from Shaheen/Naseem.

This is where the game is won & lost.

They should be embarrassed of themselves if they fail to hand Pak spinners. Both are mediocre from what i see in one dayers. Zampa is infinitely superior to these guys.

Most of the pak guys come from middle or lower class backgrounds which makes them mentally tougher from the word go as they are used to hardships in life.

Except Jaiswal and Pandya, all our guys come from pretty well off families. And the cozy IPL paychecks every year makes it that much worse.

Another example is the black African footballers in European countries. They come from poor immigrant ghetto families and are resilient as fukk.

Most of the western Euro countries (with Italy being the exception) are half filled with black players when they barely make up 2-3% of their populations.

Yes. Chahar played quite well those days. Injuries ruined him but he was an upfront 5 over bowler. Nothing more than that and a handy batsman. His batting down the order would have given us many options.

They don't have to deliver every match. When it is necessary they ahve to step up like Coulter Nile stepped for Australia in WC2019 against Windies. Australia was 35/4. He came at no.8 and scoerd 92 in 60 balls.

a 5 over bowler is liability in most matches in that case.

Each team should have 6 bowlers each one being capable of bowling atleast 8 overs every innings.  When someone has a bad day we can use the 6th one strategically.

That is the bare minimum criteria these days with more emphasis being put on batting ability as teams trying to outbat opposition atleast as seen in last 2 WCs

You need to have 2 out of three/four fast bowlers to bat and have the power game

Same is the criteria for spinners with one coming from one amongst top 5,like we had before with plethora of spin options

Not really...  Many Indian players come from abject poverty as well.

I think Gill came from a decent enough family...  Heard his Father got a special bowling machine for him to practice as a kid.

Being coming from well off family has its advantages when it comes to diet & nutrition at tender age.

These Afghans seem bottlers of highest order along Bangladeshis... In subcontinent.  Both are hubs of poverty & hardships enough.

After watching us crumble against modest spin of Motie & Hosein...  I'd be surprised if we don't struggle actually.

Unless and until you use sweeps,  reverse sweeps in modern day cricket...  There is no way to go 6 RPO vs spin.  Indian players don't do that unfortunately.

Best 11 would play these bowlers in the lineup

Bumrah

Siraj

Prasidh

Harshit

Batting will be young guns like tilak Gill kishan etc and many more.

It's not a delusion when we never pick our best side. We are capable of beating anyone. That is reality. We just don't pick our best players.

Talk to me when we pick our bets 11 and lose.

Once we get rid of your husband kohli, rohit fatty and all washed up players wr can beat any team.

But Gill Tilak Kishan lost a series against West Indies who couldn't qualify for t20 world cup.

Do you think the same players will win us world cup?

I know expecting logic is a mistake from my side but still are you that naive?

You are right. We should keep selecting oldies, washed up has been till they are crippled
