Similar thing was reported by Pak media in 2018 (during Imran Khan regime).   But nothing was found.  They simply keep reporting such things in order to stay relevant.   Even if we assume this news to be real, it would require approx 10 Bln USD worth of equipment/machinery (and knowhow) along with 5-10 yrs duration to explore successfully.  Pak has zero forex reserves right now.  Wikipedia shows it as having 9 Bln USD. But all of that has been borrowed from UAE, Saudi & China. (And has to be returned) LOL.      If merely having oil reserves would make a country rich, then Nigeria & Venezuela should hv been among world's richest countries.

On PP there was a funny thread on this topic. They were already dreaming about not giving a single drop of oil to India after everything was completed.

There are lots of good documentaries available on youtube.   They all convey the same conclusion. That a geological survey (no matter how good it is) can only reveal if there is a possibility of oil underneath.  But it doesn't reveal anything about the amount/quantum/size of the reserve.  Size of the reserve would be known only after the extraction/drilling has reached the last stage.  But Pak media already claims that they hv discovered the 4th largest oil reserve in the world.     Amazing that they keep doing all these sorts of gimmicks in order to secure loans.  Basically, new/Innovative ways of begging.

There was a time they would ban anyone for anything negative or sarcastic. Nowadays they don't even care, that's how bad it's become. They don't lock the forum now like before after defeat.
