Here is how ICF changed my life I used to enjoy test cricket in solitude or a big LOI game in the company of friends but now watching cricket is not the same without checking match threads on ICF....even in the company of people while watching the game...it is a compulsive habit to check what the peeps at ICF are thinking and obviously copy some ICF jokes to amuse people :--D I cannot have a normal conversation anymore without having a ICF smiley flash in my head keeping up with the tone of the conversation . Words like Nohit,Sir Jaddu,Phaaast etc have been a part of my vocabulary now. How well I am received on ICF means more to me...I mean I might say something stupid in real life,but that doesn't bug me but if I say something stupid cricket related can you imagine my horror Most importantly,I feel a connection with the ICFer's like they are my work colleagues or something because infact the most conversation I have at work is on ICF.
Jersey #10 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 I joined ICF when I was struggling, pulling all nighters to study for college. Now I graduated from college, got a job. Things haven't changed on ICF. I learned to respect test cricket but still hate the shyt b/c it goes on forever. Sometimes I don't even watch the match and follow the match on ICF threads. Cricket matches are more analytical now, I look for technique instead of the guy who bowls the fastest or scores a lot of runs. which kinda sucks because my friends don't agree with me when I day that Saurabh Tiwari sucks after he scores quick 30 in IPL.

That's been happening and that's one of the reason site doesn't seem the same like to other former members because it used have some fire back then. Well I think it still has, it's just that all the old members see it differently and the new members see it differently.

Yes, Freaking 4 times for speaking my mind out. I had to create different id's and came back.I kept coming back bcoz I would love to discuss cricket with some knowledgeable people here. The oldies are kind of boring at times.

panther Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I joined around world cup time when the forum was really active, everything was good up untill India won(bought) the world cup, this brought out the troll side of some Indian fans, obviously stuck around as I knew what was to come in england and aus and it has been great ever since.
