It's been an underwhelming game this, but I still back the boys no matter what the result. It's been a great show this whole tournament and while it sucks to have a bad game at the very end of the tournament, it's not the end of the world.

Things not gone the way we wanted but time to stick around. Let's hope we give it all. There is still 50% of the game left to play

We hv backed enough already.  Sorry.  Can't back any more.  And there is no need to either.   WC campaign ends in utter disappointment.    There was hardly any fight shown by these players.   One sided win for Aus.

Disgrace how likes of Rohit, Rahul, Iyer, SKY, Jadeja were in the starting XI for ODIs.

Well WC is over 

My take :- 

1. The team played really well and above expectations till SF. That should be appreciated but final was very disappointing.

2. This was the best chance for India to be champions . Do not see them coming this far in 27 in SA. If players with the skill set they had could not achieve, no way you can achieve it in SA with newer lot with less skill sets .

3. Selectors need to move on from this lot and this must be made clear to the players .

4. It is better if Rohit opts out of 50 overs straight away.

5. India should take new players for 50 overs in place of Jaddu, Ash, SKY, Shami, Shardul, Even VK .

6. KL cannot be a WC member with the current mindset . Not WC material mentally . 100 odd balls -1 boundary ???. 

7. Long way to go for Shreyas outside India with the current weakness. . When you are pre meditating about short ball, you will end up like either getting out like today or to bumper.  Unless he overcomes this, tough to hold on to his place in SENA countries.

8. SKY the biggest disappointment for me in this WC. Should never be part of  50 overs team going forward. Just cannot comprehend what was the cricketing logic - he was taking single on the first ball even around 46 overs when he was the only batter left and exposing tailenders to get out . 

Shocking that he did not try any shot for rising slower ball except trying to  hit behind the wicket . What he will do if bowlers bowl the same in T20 WC ?.

Point to ponder and see what he does in next 3-4 months.  

9. Aus are leaders in race even in WCT20 in WI by the way they bowled today even on a slow wicket .Those 6.5. -6.7  ft. pacers  can really make 

the slower short balls climb a lot with no pace . Brilliant !. If grounds are reasonably big they can come good even in WI.

10. Not much expectations from new 50 over team post transition . Will need time .

11. Time for Dravid to leave coaching job of Indian Team . Can go back to younger lot level.
