Shardul doesn't seem to be delivering any impactful bowling at the moment, and it's puzzling why Ashwin (who's in the current squad as Axar's replacement) isn't being preferred in playing XI. Personally, I think India's batting would have been stronger with Axar in the lineup and he ain't any worse than Shardul. Do you reckon anyone's missing Axar Patel in this World Cup? I'd love to know your thoughts on this. PS - Also, there's no news about his recovery and when is he available for the reminder of WC. Strange tatics by BCCI. Edited October 16, 2023 by Downtown

Frustrated Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 Having a pacer AR in shardul is better than having Axar. We already hv a similar spin bowling AR in jaddu. Besides, a pacer (although he may be ordinary) can always bowl in the death overs. If a Darter (whose length is very predictable) like Axar bowls at the death, he is likely to concede 20+ runs in one over. Downtown 1
