Watching these teams they have taken all excitement out of u19 setup. 

 

Batsmen who play at the same tempo, fingers spinners galore. Seems like a bunch of future mediocre Ranji cricketers

anybody feels bangladesh players are well built than our boys ? when this happens in asian teams usually age is dodgy. Ariful, the captain both look older than 19

They are taller and better built.  India has poor nutrition standards. Protein deficient .  Bangladesh probably does better on that.

James seems like how moliya was for india, but he has better shot range than moliya, wonder why was he selected..

m surprised considering a decade back they had shorter players, that’s changing now

In other match today, Pakistan under 19 beat Afghanistan under 19 by 181 runs, in a totally one sided match.

pakistan will be a team to beat considering they have all the bases covered in bowling / batting. they would loose if they themselves do some harakiri

What a spell by Museer khan.

spinnners saves the day for india, when they meet tough teams and conditions  suited for seamers, they would suffer if they continue with tiwari, he seems a lost bowler can lose his radar easily and doesn’t looks like a bowler who can run through sides, somebody without X factor. somebody from team management should address this crisis for india

Museer might have a better chance of playing for india than his brother because of his bowling.

Yea no. I am not sure where you live but that's just not true lol.

Maybe in cricketing fraternity. 

 

Just go to any public school these days and you will see how much taller indian kids are. And stronger.

In India seniors

'Seniors' supposedly the top players. They aren't because there are much better players who should be playing on merit but cant get selected dur to myriad of reasons. These so called talented lowda seniors won't help juniors because they are afraid they will lose their spots if the juniors happen to be good.

Poor pace bowlers we have

no wrist spinner

no hard hitting batsman

 

Good teams can eat them in breakfast but U19s are U19s..any team can collapse..

 

However our concern is not this tournament but poor future prospects.

Yeah seriously...  Seen Taller stronger kids these days. 

Most of my locality kids will wipe the floor with these U19 boys in a brawl.  Don't know WTF is wrong at grassroots? 

Last batch was much better in fact.

Not sure about that. There was a study done not too long ago which shows that average male height in India had gone down by 1.1 cm
