The worst PCB chairman ever , the guys doesn't know anything about cricket but he is maha corrupt and now he is inviting a cricketers for a possible role, who should have been retired 3-4 years ago. Why can't someone look for the future .

Sarfaraz is 36, do they expect him to lead pakistan in all 3 format ? T20 WC is round the corner. Sarfaraz can't lead them to a T20 win. Not is he going to be around for next 50 over wc.

He is 36 where chaha Iftikhar is still 33 .

You are 100% right that Pakistani has zero talent identification and obsession for bits and pieces and “power hitters”. Abdullah warmed the bench while all the trash like Khusdil, Asif Ali, Haris, Haider Ali and the like  were preferred ahead of him.

There is nothing wrong with Babar's captaincy, its not his fault that bowlers are useless and cant even defend 275 against Afghanistan. Pakistan always has a habit of sacrificing their batters to "reward" their bowlers.

 

But anyway, let Shaheen become the captain. It would be fun to see the total moral of team going down when their captain will be smashed for runs. Shaheen is the softest target for any opposition team.

but PCB has an excellent eye for identifying stat padders and making them captains. Babar, Rizwan are two that come to mind. Shafique does not seem like that, so far. I expect them to give it to sarfaraz or some other stat padder instead (maybe Imam)
