Apart from Bumrah, the other names should not even be in consideration for white ball cricket anymore. Time is ripe to invest in an entire new generation. 

 

We can't keep going back to the same players again and again.  Time to cut the cord and invest in younger talents.  They need the experience by 2027

It all depends on their performance in the upcoming series.

If we lose, the "fans" & selectors will run back to seniors under the pretext that the youngsters can't even win bilaterals in India, how can they will win the cup.

the aussies will probably lose on purpose. they want T20 to thrive and pay the bills and that means a successful indian side, except in the cups

I sincerely hope Rohit and Kohli will retire from T20's and ODIs and allow them selectors and captain the full 4 year cycle to build the team.

The amount of PR support Kohli, KL & Rohit are getting now..I doubt selectors will be that bold.

Yesterday, sports tak took a poll if these 3 deserve a spot in T20..71% of them replied positively. 

So if Kohli, KL & Rohit all 3 play T20 WC..remaining 3 slots will go to Gill, SKY & Hardik/Shreyas..basically same batting order of ODI.

Kohli in particular will flop in West Indies.  He is terrible on slow pitches especially in this format. 

 

In ODIs, he can still anchor the innings but definitely not in T20's
